Live forever “Frozen”(Cryonics)!

We have seen so many weird to the weirdest things in science, but I think nothing can be so weird than this. Basically cryogenics is the study of something in cold, but CRYONICS on the other hand is the study of some living thing kept in cold.

Cryonics is actually a process of preserving the human body in an extremely low temperatures, hoping that some day, science could be able to bring them back to life ( Technically called reanimation). “Hoping??” Yeah, this isn’t perfect yet, as of now scientists have only found the way to preserve the human body, but science has yet to improve further to bring the preserved human back to life!

You may ask, why on earth people want to live frozen forever? Well… The people with un-curable diseases hoping that science one day finds a cure or people just curious about future may end up preserving themselves through cryonics.

Now, let’s see what happens here rather how it happens. Once the person is dead, the cryonics team inject some antifreeze to protect the tissues from freezing because. The main problem here is our cells are full of water and when we freeze the body cells may freeze, when liquid freezes they expand so, there is a chance of breaking the cell membrane in this process. Then the body is cooled rapidly and finally kept in a liquid nitrogen container for too long.

It may take a few years or even decades to find a way to reanimate the human body (bringing the human back to life).

Science fiction is no more a fiction!!

What’s Encryption? And what’s Quantum Cryptography?

Encryption is simply taking some information that makes sense and scrambling it into some mess, so that no one can open it without a specified key. In reality, many websites on the internet contain some of our secret and sensitive information( like credit card info and even messages), to protect these we use Encryption.

So, how do they manage to protect our information?

Well.. The information is first turned into some other sequence or into bits, then we use something called KEY, to protect our information.

This key is like, multiplying every bit of the code with a certain prime number or something else. This makes it difficult to crack. Because, its easy to know the multiplication of two prime numbers. But, its pretty tough to tell the two prime numbers with which the number or the output bit is obtained.

And for encryption, we don’t use small primes, we actually use bigger prime numbers. It may take years to find the factors for that number by a human. But the machine(computer) created by the human is super fast and can find the key faster than you expect, of course that damn tough to do so.

Now, let’s see what “Quantum Cryptography” is?

Encryption is done purely based on mathematics. When it comes to highest level of protection, “Quantum Cryptography” comes into picture. Unlike encryption, Quantum Cryptography uses physics. In Quantum Cryptography, the information is hidden in Photons(light particles).

The key here is  a stream of photons travelling in one direction, with each of these photon particles representing a single bit of data (either a 0 or 1). All of these photons are oscillating (vibrating) in any 360-degree range across any conceivable axis, let the  oscillations be grouped into 4 particular states: UP/DOWN, LEFT/RIGHT, UPLEFT/RIGHTDOWN and UPRIGHT/LEFTDOWN.UPRIGHT/LEFTDOWN. The angle of this vibration is known as the polarization of the photon.

A polarizer is that which simplifies a filter that permits certain photons to pass through it with the same oscillation as before and lets others pass through in a changed state of oscillation.

Now, let’s see how a key is made. Let  “A” sends oscillating photos may be UP/DOWN, LEFT/RIGHT, UPLEFT/RIGHTDOWN and UPRIGHT/LEFTDOWN. The receiver “B” uses two types of polarizers ( Diagonal and Horizontal/vertical) for each photon, to polarize and ends up with an information waiting for a confirmation by the sender “A” about the polarizer “B” used, that is, Diagonal or Horizontal/vertical polarizer.

Because, a Diagonal polarizer won’t polarize a Horizontally polarized photon, that is, there is a 50% chance of 1 and 50% chance of 0. Finally once the sender “A” confirms the polarizer used for each bit, the wrongly guessed combinations are thrown out and the correct key is obtained.

Using Quantum Cryptography as of now is very tough. This was practically practised in IBM lab.

Spherical Tires!!!

Spherical tires, this may sound crazy, but they are actually awesome. Unveiled at the Geneva International Motor Show, by a company called “GOODYEAR”.

AvdRgX

These tires allows cars to move in all directions, with spherical tires, you can even slide in sideways too. Greater parking efficient, so existing parking lots can accommodate more cars without taking up any more space. But, how on this earth, they fixed the tires to the car, yet manage to make them rotate in every direction?

Well… They used magnetic levitation, rather than axles, to suspend the tires under the cars body.. Where an object is suspended above another with no other support but magnetic field.

These are 3d printed, and are smart enough to detect, whether the road is wet or dry, and functions accordingly. The coral-patterned tread also behaves like a natural sponge – responding to wet weather by softening, while stiffening in dry conditions. Here are my previous articles on 3D printing and even 4D printing 😉 (3D printing , 4D printing ).

Hurrah! My blog turns an year now…

Hurrah! It’s been an year now. One thing’s for sure, blogging community here is awesome. I learnt so much here. Now, my blog turns an year and I got an year of experience in blogging. This is a huge thing to me. So, I thought, why not make this article a huge one too. Before you get mad at me scrolling down and down and wondering where it ends, let me explain you something.

When I did my 100th article with 100 followers (Celebrating 100th article with 100 followers). I thought I would write my 200th article with 200 followers but, it didn’t happen now. This is my 153rd article with 210 followers;);) The funny thing is I got the followers count, as I said before  bloggers here are really awesome, but I didn’t reach my articles count;);) It’s pretty genuine though, you don’t want to read junk and I don’t want to write articles to just satisfy the count.

Moving on, as you scroll down, hopefully you find some really interesting articles. And there are so many of them. Trust me you won’t be disappointed because, all my favourite articles are listed below. The good thing is, almost all of my articles are listed. Favourites till my 100th were listed in one article and from 100th to this particular article are listed below. So, this is an eye feasting article, atleast to me;)

If you have read and still remember my 100th article you might have noticed that, a few dialogs are similar right? Yeah! In case you don’t reach the end of this article reading and scrolling, let me tell you something. Thank you so much for making this happen, thank you for your support and thanks for your suggestions. Appreciate it!

Though this was too small post, yet worth getting inspired. I thought it’s cool to know that, a company which started in a small garage now worth almost a 500 billion dollars! And one of the most trusted, innovative and loved companies ever found.

Happy Birthday Apple Inc.

The story of my Blog

Well… This is the most interesting part in this post. I started this blog on April 4th 2015 ;). I started this blog to share my views, ideas, thoughts and mostly the Interesting Cool stuff which fascinates and gives us Information on various fields in fast growing Science and Technology. Scientists predict that in old times kowledge of humans doubles for every 1500 years and now for every 12 months the knowledge doubles. Alright that is quite a bit off topic, this blog exists because, this is the platform to interact with people and their ideas worldwide, which fetches me to improve my knowledge and may be their too.

Advice to new bloggers

I am not so well experienced blogger, though I have a few suggestions. Concentrate on the content you “write” not the videos you present because people open wordpress to read content not to view videos, try to write constantly, interact with people and know some new things, tag your posts correctly…

Nominations

Congratulations you are nominated, everyone who read this is nominated, because this is blogger recognition award and it is damn tough to nominate 15 bloggers.

How a touch screen works?

We all use a smart phone almost every single day, most of them are touch screens. Ever wonder how a touch screen of a smart device works? Before the legend and Co-founder of Apple Inc. STEVE JOBS introduced Capacitive touch to the technology world there was something called Resistive touch.

The working of resistive touch was very simple, there were two layers called Resistive layer and Conductive layer, when our finger pushes both layers at ones then the local voltage is changed and it recognises the touch and responds.

On June 29, 2007, Apple Inc. co-founder STEVE JOBS introduced a new touch technology with the first iPhone so called CAPACITIVE TOUCH. As soon as it was introduced rest of the companies started working with capacitive touch.

So, how a capacitive touch works?

Unlike resistive touch screens, capacitive screens do not use the pressure of your finger to create a change in the flow of electricity. Instead, they work with anything that holds an electrical charge – including human skin. Yes we humans do hold electric charge. Capacitive touch screens are constructed from materials like copper or indium tin oxides that store electrical charges in an electrostatic grid of tiny wires, each smaller than a human hair.

There are few layers in it, the first layer is glass, we commonly use gorilla glass. The next two layers are filled with electrodes which are very tiny. One of those contain the Driving lines which carry current and the other one contains the sensing lines which sense the amount of current. These layers are arranged such aa way that the driving lines and the sensing lines are perpendicular to each other. Now when we move our electrically conducting finger on to the screen, it changes the amount of charge. As soon as it changes, the sensing lines sense, where the charge is changed (i.e, jumped) on the driving lines. And the result is shown on the layer( LCD screen).  It also work the same way with multiple touch and the moving the finger on the screen.

This is the reason why we can only work with our touch devices with electrically conducting things like our Finger. So thanks to Steve jobs.

INSPIRING QUOTES OF “STEVE JOBS”, GET INSPIRED

STEVE JOBS –
->“Here’s to the crazy ones.

The misfits.

The rebels.

The troublemakers.

The round pegs in the square holes.

The ones who see things differently.

They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo.

You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them.

About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them.

Because they change things.

They push the human race forward.

And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

Think Different…
->”I’m convinced that about half of what separates successful entrepreneurs from the non-successful ones is pure perseverance.”
->”My favorite things in life don’t cost any money. It’s really clear that the most precious resource we all have is time.”

-> “My model for business is The Beatles. They were four guys who kept each other’s kind of negative tendencies in check. They balanced each other, and the total was greater than the sum of the parts. That’s how I see business: Great things in business are never done by one person, they’re done by a team of people.”
->”Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower.”
